Beckside was fully refurbished in 2017.

The accommodation comprises a living room with hardwood floor and stable door looking across the valley and with a view of the beach, fitted galley kitchen (with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, Nespresso machine, dishwasher etc.), fridge-freezer, WC/Shower room and two bedrooms (front: double bed; rear: small double bed).

Heating and hot water are supplied by a gas central heating system and there is a wood-burning stove in the living room.

Amenities include satellite TV, DVD, books and maps, board games etc.

Wifi is available free of charge.

Bed linen is provided along with towels, but please bring beach towels.  Please note that there is no washing machine, dryer or drying area, but laundry facilities are available in Whitby.

Although there is no specific parking for Beckside, free parking for Sandsend Valley residents is located by the village green, less than a minute's walk away, and cars may load and unload directly in front of the cottage.

Low Row has no through access for motor vehicles, so remains peaceful!
